Umesh Yadav was cheated by his friend

Indian cricketer Umesh Yadav was cheated by a close friend. His friend Shailesh Thackeray snatched the Indian pacer’s huge amount of money. Umesh Yadav made such a complaint against his friend recently. His complaint is that his friend Shailesh stole 44 lakh rupees in the name of buying land. Neither the land nor the money returned

Shailesh, Umesh’s close friend, was taking care of Umesh’s financial affairs since getting a chance in the national team. He trusted his friend and gave him his power of attorney. Shailesh looked after all the financial aspects of the Indian pacer’s BCCI, IPL franchise, his state cricket body, and brand promotion. But that close friend broke his faith this time.

Due to this friend’s deception, Umesh finally went to the police. He made a written complaint to the police. According to his complaint, he appointed his friend Shailesh as manager on July 15, 2014, after getting a chance in the Indian team. After that, all his financial matters were looked after by that friend. On the advice of this friend, Umesh gave 44 lakhs to buy land near Nagpur. But the treacherous friend bought the land with that money. But it is not in the name of Umesh but in the name of himself. After Umesh asked to write the land in his name, Shailesh did not give it. When asked to return the money, he did not give it either.

A police official told the media after Umesh’s complaint that a case of cheating was filed against Koradi resident Shailesh Thacker. Nagpur police have started the investigation of this incident. But no one has been arrested so far. Till now Shailesh has not opened his mouth. Police believe he is absconding after the incident. The members of the law and order forces did not even find him at home.

It should be noted that Umesh Yadav made his debut for the Indian team in 2010. Umesh’s financial affairs were looked after by his friend from the beginning. But at first, he did not take a salary. Then Umesh started paying his friend in 2013. At first, it was said to be 35 thousand rupees, but later Umesh increased it to 50 thousand rupees. However, after he claimed that he had been cheated on by that friend, the issue started a stir.

Instead of playing ODIs, Shastri suggested Kohli play Ranji

Australia is coming to India in February. The Australian series is an important series for  Rohit-Bhirat. Former Indian cricket team coach Ravi Shastri advised Kohli to do better in the series against Australia. Shastri advised Kohli to skip one-day cricket and play Ranji in order to do well in the Test series against Australia.

Kohli is in great form this year. He is doing great with the bat in white-ball cricket. However, he has not yet played an inning of big runs in red ball cricket. And Australia is coming to India. It is important for Kohli to be in the form in Test cricket. It is important to prepare yourself for the Border – Gavaskar Trophy. That’s why Shastri suggested Kohli play Ranji instead of ODI cricket.

India is playing a one-day series against New Zealand at home. India also won the first two matches. But Shastri advised Kohli. According to him, Kohli should boost his confidence by playing in the Ranji Trophy instead of playing ODIs. Shastri also thinks that small interests should be left for the big interests.

In an interview, Shastri said, “There is no option to prepare yourself before a big series. I think you should play as much first-class cricket as possible to prepare yourself for international cricket. Since the series with Australia is at home, it can be especially first-class cricket. Great platform for preparation. I think the top cricketers in the country don’t play much first-class cricket. There is a lot of cricket being played around, but nobody wants to get injured. In the larger interest of Indian cricket, some matches have to be given up, and time to build up.”

By larger interests, Ravi Shastri refers to the series against Australia. He added, “Australia will tour India soon, the bigger interest now is the Australia series. Kohli has been in great form in ODIs, but I think he should prepare himself for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy without playing the third one-dayer. It depends on his adaptation to Tests. There will be more advantages to take. Chances of doing well with Australia will also increase.”

It should be noted that Kohli’s third one-day match against New Zealand is on January 24. On the same day, Delhi and Hyderabad will take the field in Ranji. Shastri cited Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar as an example. Sachin did this 25 years ago. And Tendulkar also got success.

At that time in 1998, Tendulkar scored more than 1000 runs against Australia, scoring a magnificent double-century. Kohli, however, did not comment on this.

Pakistan should learn from India: Ramiz Raja

India is showing strength at home. They are making themselves almost unstoppable by winning one series after another. But on the other hand, Pakistan has forgotten the taste of victory. Babar Azam’s team is losing one series after another at home. The former head of the Pakistan Cricket Board Ramiz Raja said to learn from India.

The team has made it almost impossible to beat India at home. They are playing well in all three formats of cricket. Recently, Rohit-Kohli confirmed the series by winning two consecutive matches against New Zealand with one match remaining. India beat Sri Lanka before New Zealand. Rohit Sharma’s team won the series by whitewashing Sri Lanka in the three-match ODI series.

Meanwhile, Ramiz Raja expressed dissatisfaction with Pakistan’s recent performance. Babar Azam’s team was whitewashed at home against England after losing the three-match series 1-0 against Aussie. The two Tests against the Kiwis have not seen a win. The two teams shared the series with a draw. Pakistan has tasted defeat in the last two series in T-20 cricket as well.

This time Pakistan’s World Cup-winning cricketer advised Pakistan to learn from India and be consistent like them. Ramiz recently said on his YouTube channel, “India is playing great at home. It’s very difficult to beat them on their soil. It’s a lesson for other teams in the subcontinent including Pakistan. Because Pakistan has a lot of potentials, but the home field performance in terms of results or series wins is not as consistent as that of India. The way India has been unstoppable in their stronghold during the World Cup year is an important milestone for India. “

This year, India is the host country for the one-day World Cup. And the Indian team is in great form. The team is giving a good performance in one-day cricket. In all, India has won 7 consecutive bilateral one-day series at home. Team India won 6 series in 2009-11 and 2016-18. And such a consistent World Cup year bodes well for India.

Harun Rashid is the new chief selector of PCB.

After the New Zealand series, Afridi was offered a long-term contract by the PCB. But this former captain of Pakistan did not agree to take this responsibility. Afridi said, “It was a great honour for me to take over the responsibility of the Pakistan Board as the Chief Selector. The PCB wanted to extend my term as the Chief Selector after discussing it with me. But personally, I cannot spend so much time on the Board. Besides charity, I have spoken in various places.  However, I would like to work on the development of cricketers at the U-19 level in the future. For now, I cannot devote the time required to fulfil the duties of the Chief Selector.”

As Afridi did not agree, this time PCB gave the responsibility to another former Pakistani cricketer Harun Rashid. Harun Rashid told reporters in Lahore last Monday. He said, “Congratulations to Haroon Rashid. He has contributed to the country’s cricket in the past, hopefully, he will leave his mark on the country’s cricket this time as well. We all hope that he will contribute to the country’s cricket by selecting the right squad for the next series of Pakistan”.

It should be noted that Haroon Rashid played 23 Tests and 12 ODIs in Pakistan’s jersey from 1977 to 1983. In Test cricket, he scored 34 runs at an average of 1217. Butler doesn’t expect much from Archer

Jofra Archer has become one of the best pacers in the England cricket team. But he has to be knocked out again and again due to injuries. After winning the 2019 ODI World Cup, Archer did not play much. He has been out of international cricket for a long time. However, even if he returns to the field, Buttler does not expect much from him. The English captain said so in an interview recently.

Archer recently returned to the field after recovering from injury. But it is not international cricket, the English pacer is playing in South Africa’s franchise-based Twenty20 tournament, the SAT20 league. However, he is not able to show himself fully there. After a long layoff, it may take some time for him to return to the field. England’s white-ball captain is keeping that in mind.

On Archer’s return, Buttler said, “I played against him (Archer) in the league in South Africa. He is not bowling as well as he used to. We have to understand that he is back after a long time. He will not be at his best now. It will be difficult for him to come back. . It’s exciting for us to have such a bowler back. Can’t ask for much from him for now.”

Regardless of the performance, Buttler wants to see Archer in the regular team. According to him, the England team needs a bowler like Archer in this crucial year. Buttler added, “This year we have the Ashes series, the ODI World Cup. There are some important bilateral series. All in all, it is going to be an important year. Hopefully, we will have Archer for the whole year.”

It should be noted that the England Cricket Board has included Archer in the team for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa. This pacer can be seen playing from the first match of the series. After a long time, how will Archer’s performance be in the return match? That question will have to wait for now. But above all else, England is waiting to get back the old archer who was on fire with the ball.
