Due to political tensions, India cannot face Pakistan except in international matches. India – Pakistan faced each other in the group stage of the 2015 World Cup. Virat Kohli, the owner of 74 centuries in international cricket, also scored a century in that match. Sohail Khan took 5 wickets for Pakistan in that match. But when Pakistan’s batting collapsed, this bowler had to enter the field with the bat. And just then Kohli was fielding against him. And Sohail Khan recently brought forward that incident in an interview.

After Sohail Khan came into the field with the bat in that match, Kohli told him, “Your team is in danger. You are new to the team. But you talk too much. You cannot prevent the team from losing.” And in response to this Sohail Khan said, “You are a child. Your father has been playing Test cricket since you played cricket for the U-19 team. Speak properly. Don’t speak too much without understanding.”

However, later the umpire came and calmed down Kohli and Sohail. And their verbal conflict, however, did not have any effect on the match. Kohli’s team defeated Pakistan by a considerable margin. But Kohli lost to Australia in the semi-final of that World Cup. They did not play in the final after that. However, Kohli did not open up about that incident. Currently, he is preparing himself for the Australia series.

Malik-Amirs can be seen again in the Pakistan jersey if they can maintain their form. Recently, such a glimpse has been received from the selection committee of Pakistan cricket.

In competitive cricket like BPL, Malik plays a vital role in the team’s victory. Pakistan Cricket Chief Selector Harun Rashid said, “Doors are not closed to anyone in Pakistan cricket. We are looking for players who go with team cohesion. We will put everything in place for the team’s success and also look at competitive cricket performance. Pakistan needs players who can play their game in important competitions and can give victory to the team.”

The chief selector also hinted that the door could be opened for anyone considering the interests of the side. Harun also said, “We are looking for cricketers who can play consistently well in the team. If any young player plays well in the same position, he will definitely be in our consideration. Mohammad Amir has been punished for a long time for fixing the match. And earlier PCB chief Najam Shetty gave a positive message about him. He said, “Mohammad Amir is an incredible talent in Pakistan cricket. If he plays consistently well and comes back from retirement, the door is open for him in the national team. Yes, there has been talking of match-fixing and he has been punished for it. I have taken a tough stand. But he has served enough punishment for his actions and there should be no further restrictions. He may get another chance. He should be allowed to return to international cricket. It will benefit Pakistan cricket.”

With such words of the chief selector, there is a possibility of cricketers like Amir and Malik returning to the Pakistan team. It should be noted that Malik has played 8 matches in BPL so far. Jitesh Sharma became a cricketer to get more marks

An Indian wicketkeeper-batsman became a cricketer not to skip school, but to get more marks in school. The story of India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Jitesh Sharma is a bit different. While many have skipped school to become cricketers, he played cricket hoping to score high marks. Recently, this Indian wicketkeeper-batsman made such a comment.

In a recent interview with ESPN Cricinfo, he shared his story of becoming a cricketer. Jitesh said, “Yes there is no end of talk about cricket in India. But cricket did not attract me. I was not very interested in cricket, I never wanted to play cricket. I started playing cricket mainly to get higher marks in school. In Maharashtra, there was a rule that if I failed in class, if I could play in the state team, I get 4 per cent extra marks. I wanted to get extra marks. That’s what brought me to cricket.”

However, this Indian wicketkeeper also answered the question of why he became a wicketkeeper. He said, “Even though I didn’t play cricket, I used to play football regularly for the school. One day my friends told me that if I played in the cricket team in our school, I would get more marks from the teachers. So, I went to the school selection in the hope of getting extra marks. Incidentally, there was no wicketkeeper in the school.

I was asked if I can do wicketkeeping. I said yes without thinking anything. I never thought my life would change like this. From that day my wicketkeeping career started. I took good catches and got a chance on the school team. Slowly my life started to change. Having played for the state team before rising up, it came to mind to take cricket as a career. That’s made me a cricketer.”

The Indian promising cricketer also got a call-up to India’s T20 squad against Sri Lanka. In 2016, he was called up to the Mumbai Indians team in IPL. However, he first entered the field in 2022 for Punjab Kings. But Jitesh has no regrets even if he could not play for Mumbai. He had a great time in the dressing room. Jitesh also said, “IPL has changed my life. Even though I couldn’t play for Mumbai, the two years I spent there were the best moments of my life.

Being in the presence of Sachin Tendulkar in the dressing room was the best of my life. I used to watch Rohit’s batting regularly. I couldn’t understand how slowly got involved as a professional cricketer. “

It should be noted that this Indian cricketer first came to the discussion by performing at the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He scored 343 runs at a strike rate of 143 in the 2015-2016 season. And after that, this batsman got a call in the IPL as well. Jitesh played brilliantly for Punjab Kings last year. He scored runs at a strike rate of 163.
