The price of BPL tickets increased; the audience expressed disappointment

Bangladesh Cricket Board informed us about the increased price of tickets. According to the information provided by BCB, the minimum ticket price is now 100 taka and the highest ticket price is 500 taka. However, the audience has expressed dissatisfaction with the increase in ticket prices.

Earlier in BPL, the audience had to pay 1 thousand 500 takas to watch the game in the grandstand. Now they have to pay 2 thousand takas. The price of tickets for the VIP stands at both ends of the wicket was earlier Tk 1,000. And now 500 takas has increased to 1 thousand 500 takas.

BCB’s statement on the issue of increasing tickets also said that the minimum charge for watching the eliminator and qualifier matches of BPL is 300 taka, which was 200 taka in the league phase. North and South Stand tickets are now priced at Tk 400. The clubhouse ticket price is 800 taka which was 500 taka in the league stage.

Tickets will be available the day before the start of the match. However, tickets can also be obtained on the day of the match. And these tickets will be available at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium and Sher-e-Bangla Stadium from the counters adjacent to gate number one. Ticketing hours are from 9 am to 7:30 pm. Two matches of the day can be seen in one ticket.
