Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw was attacked for not wanting to take a selfie at the request of a fan. Prithvi was attacked not only because he didn’t fill the demand once, but because he didn’t want to take a second selfie on demand. The police have filed a case accusing eight people in connection with this incident. A woman has been arrested. This incident has caused uproar in Indian cricket.
The incident happened last Wednesday midnight. And for this a complaint has been made to the police station. According to Indian media sources, Prithvi went out for dinner with businessman friend Ashish Yadav. A stranger wants to take a selfie with him before entering the hotel. Prithvi fulfills that demand. But Prithvi did not agree when the person wanted to take more selfies. The person even accused Prithvi of misconduct. The man was then removed with the intervention of the hotel manager.
But this is not the end of the story. Prithvi and his friend came out after eating and drinking from the hotel. He came and saw some people standing with bats. When Prithvi got into the car, the men hit the windshield of the car with bats. Not seeing the situation very well, Prithvi went out with another car.
Meanwhile, three motorcycles and a white car followed Yadav. The men attacked Yadav’s car when he was about to take a turn near a petrol pump around 4 am. Car’s windshield was smashed in the attack. Yadav then entered a police station nearby after seeing the situation. He said that one of those people demanded 50 thousand rupees to settle the problem. If not, he threatened to file a false complaint with the police.
And after this incident police arrested a woman named Swapna Gill. She is a social media influencer. However, the police are yet to arrest the other accused. However, it is hoped that the incident will be investigated, and the accused arrested and punished accordingly.
