Ian Healy advised Cummins to step down

Meanwhile, on Cummins’ captaincy, Healy said, “It’s not right to have Cummins as captain for a long time. I think it’s better not to have this weight on his shoulders. He’s good enough as a pacer. I want him to finish his career as a great bowler. And captaincy at the same time and performing is a tough task. Cummins should have a thriving bowling career, apart from leadership.”

In that case, Healy also announced his choice as the captain for the Test. The former Aussie star chose Travis Head on the basis of experience. He is quite experienced.”

Healy does not want Cummins to lead even in colorful clothes. Glenn Maxwell is on his shortlist as the new captain here. Maxwell, however, is out of the field for a long time.
