Bangladesh vs England at a glance

  • When attempting to reach a 210-run Target, England lost 7 wickets.
  • Recently, Bangladesh has displayed remarkable ball control at home.
  • Both teams have a strong batting lineup, but England’s lineup has batsmen who bat aggressively.

Bangladesh Team Preview & Playing Squads

Bangladesh trounced the men in blue in their most recent home ODI series, led by Liton Das. Bangladesh will be optimistic going into the England series with Tamim Iqbal back in the lineup and in charge.

In a game that could decide their fate, they will be expected to step up and perform. Bangladesh would lose the series with one more defeat. At this stage, Tamim Iqbal’s performance also becomes vital, and he must strike hard at the top. The bowling offense is the only consistent component of this team. The three most important bowlers in this lineup are Ebadot Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Shakib Al Hasan.

England Team Preview & Playing Squads

Even though the outcome may not have been what was anticipated, Jos Buttler will be happy with the victory. England was predicted to easily win after controlling the game with the ball and chasing a modest target of 210 runs. The opposition’s performance with the ball persisted, though, and they tormented the English batting order. After three of England’s top four batters were sent back to the dugout for just 45 runs, Dawid Malan led the team in the fightback.

England is anticipated to do significantly better than what we saw in the previous game with players like James Vince, Jason Roy, and Jos Buttler in the batting order. In the bottom order, Moeen Ali is another player who has a significant impact on a game with limited overs. The home team will struggle against Jofra Archer, Mark Wood, and Chris Woakes’ controlled pace attack.

Cricket Prediction | Bangladesh vs England | 2ND ODI | March 3, 2023 Shere Bangla National Stadium Dhaka

In the past, the pitch has benefited the batsmen, but recently, the bowlers have benefited greatly from the surface. The hitters will find it difficult to time their swings, giving the bowlers the upper hand.

On the day of the game in Dhaka, it will be a sunny day with a high of 33 degrees Celsius.

In the 122 ODI matches played on this field, teams who bowl first have won 66 of them. Both teams would like to bowl first if they win the toss because it is challenging to post a respectable total on this surface.

PSL 2023 Cricket Prediction | Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators Islamabad United

Islamabad United is presently third in the points table, having collected 6 points from 5 games. This squad has played the fewest games in this season’s PSL but has managed to win three. A strong victory might potentially put them in second position, behind the Lahore Qalandars.

Given how badly the fast bowlers were trounced in the previous game, Shadab Khan is unlikely to make any changes after winning the previous match.

Quetta Gladiators Team Preview & Playing Squads

The Quetta Gladiators began this season with a loss and have unquestionably deteriorated as we enter the fourth week of competition. They are currently last in the points table with only one win in six games, and another loss might seriously jeopardize their chances of making it into the top four.

Jason Roy will almost certainly start for the Gladiators in Match 21 after sitting out the previous game.

PSL 2023 Cricket Prediction | Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

Because the wicket has a green surface up front, the captain who wins the toss will almost certainly choose to field first.

During the match, the temperature is forecast to be approximately 18 degrees, with humidity reaching 68%. There is no chance of rain disrupting the game.

Unlike other tournament pitches, the surface in Rawalpindi allows quick bowlers to get good pace and bounce, making it difficult for batsmen to relax early on.
