Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Team Preview

Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings look back to their best in this campaign after a disappointing season last year. We anticipate that they will be a too-talented team for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Before their victory in Bengaluru on Monday, Chennai Super Kings made one adjustment. Sisanda Magala of South Africa, a fast bowler, was replaced by Matheesha Pathirana of Sri Lanka. Ben Stokes is still anticipated to miss this game due to injury.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

In this competition, Sunrisers Hyderabad has already overcome setbacks and has a talented young international roster. In this match, we anticipate them to exert constant pressure on Chennai Super Kings.

Umran Malik was unable to play in the match against Mumbai Indians because the Sunrisers included Washington Sundar in the lineup after using him as an impact player the game before. Although they have a strong bowling attack, they haven’t yet found their ideal lineup.

IPL 2023 Cricket Prediction | Match 29: Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

MA Chidambaram Stadium

Although the teams batting first have a better track record in T20s at this venue, we forecast that both sides would prefer to field first because the humidity levels are expected to rise as the game goes on.

There will be no precipitation. It will be between 29 and 36 degrees. At 10 to 25 km/h, the wind will be blowing from the west.

The pitch at MA Chidambaram Stadium is renowned for having a surface that encourages spinning. For the spinners, the track frequently provides turn and bounce.

Cricket Highlights, 20 April: IPL 2023 (Match 26) – Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants

Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants (Match 26) – Highlights

Yesterday’s game was between the top two teams on the points table of this year’s IPL. There, table toppers Rajasthan Royals (RR) were defeated by 10 runs by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), who are currently second in the table. However, losing this match did not change the position of the Royals in the points table.

The Royals won the toss in Jaipur and decided to bowl first. Super Giants collected a challenging score of 154 runs after losing 7 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. In response, the Royals’ innings stopped after losing 6 wickets and they ended up scoring 144 runs. With that, LSG secured a breathtaking victory by 10 runs.

RR’s bowlers had a great start to the bowling at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. However, they could not take any wickets in the first 10 overs. LSG’s two openers KL Rahul and Kyle Mayers took advantage of this opportunity. 82 runs came from their opening pair.

Jason Holder broke the opening pair by scalping the wicket of Rahul for the team’s 82 runs. He scored 39 runs off 32 balls with 4 fours and 1 six. But while Rahul failed to get a half-century, Mayers scored a half-century. But this Caribbean batsman could not take the team forward for a long time after making his fifty. He returned to the pavilion after scoring 51 runs off 42 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes.

The team that lost the first wicket for 82 runs, lost three more wickets to score 104 runs. From there, Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran brought the team back into the match. But they could not accelerate the scoring rate. Super Giants finally got a fighting score of 154 runs based on Stoinis’s 21 from 16 balls and Pooran’s 29 runs from 20 balls.

Ravichandran Ashwin took the maximum number of 2 wickets for the Royals. Besides, Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma, and Jason Holder took 1 wicket each.

RR’s two openers Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal got off to a great start coming down to chase this target. 87 runs came from the opening pair in 11.3 overs. Jaiswal returned to the dugout scoring the highest runs for the Royals, he made 44 off 35 balls, with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Another opener, Buttler scored 41 runs, but he played 40 balls to make that.

But then the match changed. Then the Royals’ run rate got slowed down by the bowling cannon of the LSG bowlers. Besides, they kept losing wickets regularly. Caribbean batsman Shimron Hetmyer also failed to stay at the crease. He returned to the pavilion after getting only 2 runs from 5 balls.

Rajasthan batsmen couldn’t get more than 8 runs whilst needing 19 runs in the last over. As a result, RR’s innings stopped at 144 runs. This match also holds the record for the lowest team score to win in this year’s IPL.

Avesh Khan took the maximum number of 3 wickets for Super Giants with 25 runs in 4 overs. Besides, Marcus Stoinis got 2 wickets. With that, Stoinis was selected as the player of the match for playing an important role in the team’s victory by scoring 21 runs from 16 balls.

After winning this match, Lucknow Super Giants are still in the 2nd position of the standings with 8 points from 6 matches. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are still at the top of the points table due to their higher run rate despite having the same number of points.

Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders Team Preview

Delhi Capitals

The Delhi Capitals have been soundly defeated in all of their encounters thus far in the competition. To have a chance in this game, their bowling attack must improve.

Mitchell Marsh made his return to the Delhi Capitals lineup against the Royal Challengers Bangalore after a week in Australia. Marsh came in to replace the big-hitting West Indian, Rovman Powell, and we expect the Australian to stay in the lineup for this game.

Kolkata Knight Riders

The Kolkata Knight Riders have lost their last two games to the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Mumbai Indians, but we believe they have enough batting talent to win this match.

Litton Das is expected to replace Rahmanullah Gurbaz at the top of the order and as Kolkata Knight Riders’ wicket-keeper after scoring 15, 0, and 8 in his last three innings. There will be no more alterations before this match.

IPL 2023 Cricket Prediction | Match 28: Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders Arun Jaitley Stadium

The last time the par score in T20s at the Arun Jaitley Stadium was more than 180 was in 2018. The wicket will provide some help to the pace bowlers.

Partly overcast skies are expected in Delhi on Thursday evening, with humidity levels reaching 50% in the match’s second innings.

Teams batting second have a considerably higher victory rate at this stadium, and with the humidity levels rising later in the game, we anticipate that both captains will opt to field first.

Pakistan vs New Zealand at a Glance

  • In the third T20I, New Zealand edged Pakistan by a slim margin.
  • In the third T20I match played in Lahore, Mark Chapman, Adam Mline, and James Neesham all gave outstanding performances for New Zealand.
  • In the preceding game, Pakistan’s Iftikhar Ahmed, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf all delivered respectable performances.

Pakistan vs New Zealand Team Preview

Pakistan

James Neesham maintained his composure right up until the very end as Pakistan appeared set to win the T20I series in spectacular fashion. The host team battled tooth and nail until the final over before ultimately losing by 4 runs after losing both of its openers within the first 4 overs.

The home team’s experiment of starting Naseem Shah before Insanullah undoubtedly failed, which may be the reason for the change in the starting Eleven of the fourth T20I. Imad Wasim also isn’t likely to be replaced in the crucial match despite his abject failure to contribute with the bat and bowl.

New Zealand

Finally, New Zealand’s skipper was leading from the front. In addition, their quick bowlers came through in Karachi, taking 6 wickets. In addition to their veterans’ outstanding leadership, players like Rachin Ravindra made a huge contribution by capturing 2 wickets in 3 overs to bring the series to 2-1.

It is quite improbable that Tom Latham selects Henry Shipley for his starting XI for the fourth T20I because Adam Milne and Matt Henry are performing the ideal roles with the new ball.

Both captains will be aiming to field first because the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium’s surface offers more help to the bowlers early on given that we anticipate gloomy weather.

The day is supposed to be filled with brief periods of light rain.

The match-ready wicket will have something for rapid bowlers.
