B-Love Kandy and Jaffna Kings faced each other in match 15 of Lanka Premier League 2023. Batting first in that match, B-Love Kandy scored a decent target in the allotted 20 overs. But the players of Jaffna Kings could not reach the target as the scheduled 20 overs ended. As a result, they left the field with defeat and a small margin of 8 runs. On the other hand, Mohammed Harris won the man of the match title with great batting for B-Love Candy.

B-Love Candy’s Captain Wanindu Hasaranga elected to bat first after winning the toss and invited Jaffna Kings to bowl. Batting first, B-Love Candy’s openers had a good start. Mohammad Harris and Fakhar Zaman scored 51 runs from 33 balls in the opening pair. But Nuan Thushara did not allow them to make this innings bigger. In the 6th over, Fakhar Zaman was bowled out and sent to the dressing room. He scored 22 runs in 17 balls with the help of 1 four and 1 six. Then, Dinesh Chandimal left the field after 3 balls. If you look at the cricket highlights of the previous match, it will be seen that he scored 25 runs in 17 balls but in this match, he scored only 1 run in 3 balls.

But it doesn’t help but narrow the gap. Besides, Chris Lynn scored 27 runs off 26 balls with the help of 4 fours and 1 six. In the end, they could not reach the port of victory with 11 runs extra.
