Warner ruled out of Boarder-Gavaskar Trophy series due to injury

Warner suffered the injury in the second match of the ongoing Boarder-Gavaskar Trophy against India. While batting on the first day of the Delhi Test, a bouncer from Mohammad Siraj hit Warner on the elbow. At that time, the physio used tape on his elbow. But even then, discomfort is seen in the Aussie batsman. Another fast bouncer followed, hitting Warner on the helmet.

However, Warner continued to bat even after being hit by the ball twice. But he was not seen at ease in batting. He finally got out before playing the big innings. Run only 15 from 44 balls! As he was not physically fit in that match, he was not fielded either. Australia was even forced to bring down Matt Renshaw as Warner’s concussion sub in the match.
