Quetta Gladiators won the toss and chose to bowl first and sent Lahore Qalandars to bat. Their condition was very miserable when they came down to bat first. 4 wickets fell at the team’s 28 runs. Fakhar Zaman left the field first after scoring four runs off 3 balls. Shortly after that, Mirza Tahir Baig, who scored 2 runs, left for the dressing room. Sam Billings scored 2 runs and Hussain Talat scored 6 runs from 7 balls.

Naveen-ul-Haq and Mohammad Nawaz took 2 wickets each for Quetta Gladiators. Besides, Odean Smith, Umaid Asif, and Naseem Shah took 1 wicket each.
Chasing the target of 149 runs, they made a good start, but due to the end of the stipulated over, Quetta Gladiators could not reach the target. Their Will Smeed scored the most runs for them. He made 32 runs off 25 balls with the help of 6 fours. Their captain Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 27 runs off 28 balls with the help of 1 four. Martin Guptill scored 15 runs off 20 balls. Yasir Khan scored 14 runs off 15 balls.
Odean Smith scored 11 runs off 9 balls and Umaid Asif scored 11 runs off 6 balls. Besides Mohammad Hafeez 2, Iftikhar Ahmed 3, and Mohammad Nawaz scored 4 runs. In the end, their innings stopped at 131 runs in 20 overs with 12 extra runs.
Haris Rauf took 3 wickets for 22 runs in 4 overs for Lahore Qalandars. 2 wickets were taken by Rashid Khan and 1 wicket by David Wiese.
