Ireland will come in full force to tour Bangladesh

The Ireland cricket team will visit Bangladesh in March. Irish to play a full series on this long tour. They will fight against the hosts in all three formats. The Ireland Cricket Board has also announced the team ahead of the series. The Irish have tried to keep their maximum strength in that team. Separate teams have been announced for the three formats, to play against Bangladesh.

By announcing the team, Ireland has given a clear message that they will play their natural cricket on the soil of Bangladesh. At the same time, the cricketers and those concerned are very happy to be able to visit Bangladesh. In this context, Irish coach Henrik Malan said, “We are going to play in Bangladesh, it’s a great thing. We want to play cricket like ourselves there. We will not follow any other team.”

However, Ireland will have to give a tough test on this tour. Tamim Iqbal is unstoppable at home, especially in ODIs. Even superpowers like India, Pakistan, South Africa and England have not lost their series in the last decade. The Tigers will field a full-strength team against the Irish as well. Although the team has not yet been announced, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has said that all important cricketers including Shakib Al Hasan will play in this important series.

But in the T20 series, the fight can be evenly matched. The statistics and strength of the two teams suggest that no one is inferior to the other. Considering recent performances in this format, Ireland is in a good position. From the last T20 World Cup till now, they have been eye-catching to any team due to their mercurial batting and confident bowling. This is why Andrew Balbirnie’s team can be formidable against the Tigers.

The ODI series between the two teams will begin on March 18 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The remaining two matches of the series will also be held at the same venue. After that, three matches of the T20 series will be held at Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. Then two teams will go to Dhaka. The white dress fight will start on April 4. The only Test match will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
