Conscious Dhoni’s long hair style drew the attention of cricket fans, which rocked cricket overnight. After many more years, long hair was seen on Indian wicketkeeper batsman’s head. However, he has received a lot of response in that hair. Just as Dhoni’s fans loved his long hair, so did Pakistan’s former president Pervez Musharraf.
Musharraf has just passed away. But even after his death, his love for cricket remains immortal. Although Musharraf was the President of Pakistan, he was naturally a complete cricket lover. Even during his tenure as President, he used to come to the stadium to watch cricket. Musharraf always tried to keep the eternal enmity between Pakistan and India out of cricket. Even during the games between the two countries, the former president enjoyed sitting on the field several times in his own country and on the soil of India.
In 2006, Musharraf came to the field to watch a match of his country against India in Lahore. He praised Dhoni’s hair and game in that match. Dhoni, who had just entered international cricket, scored a half-century. Due to which the Indian wicket-keeper batsman was also became the man of the match. And Musharraf gave this award to Dhoni. He congratulated Dhoni for playing well.
Musharraf had a fight with Dhoni at that award ceremony. The Pakistani president said to the Indian wicketkeeper, “This long hair suits you very well. Always keep your hair long like this. I saw your aggressive batting on the field today. The way you control the bowlers is really admirable. I hope you will rule like this in the future with the bat.”
When the President complimented Dhoni’s long hair, Dhoni became overwhelmed. At that time Dhoning agreed that he will keep long hair. According to the word, he had long hair for a long time. Along with Dhoni’s aggressive batting, the fame of his long hair spread around the world. Musharraf’s praise and good wishes also come true. Dhoni has reigned for a long time in twenty-two yards. He led India and won all possible titles. Dhoni has become one of the best captains in the history of the country as well as in the history of cricket. Along with that, many youngsters have been seen to have long hair like Dhoni following Dhoni. Dhoni, however, cut off that long hair after winning the 2011 ODI World Cup.
