Shoaib Malik wants equal rules for everyone in cricket

Shoaib Malik wants equal rules for everyone in cricket

Shoaib Malik is one of the best cricketers in Pakistan cricket. But this all-rounder has been neglected in the national team for the past few years. It is not, however, because of his poor performance. He is not being taken into the national team mainly because of his age. Shoaib has expressed his anger for this at various times. This time he absolutely said, if you want to play in the team, you want to have the right rules for everyone.

Despite not being able to play in the national team, Shoaib is still performing wherever he plays. A few days ago, he played for Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). He got success with the bat there. This time, Shoaib also scored a half-century in his country’s Pakistan Super League (PSL). With PSL, Shoaib gave the message, “Old is Gold.”

Shoaib said in a press conference after his half-century against Peshawar Zalmi, “I have retired from Test and ODI cricket. I haven’t retired from T20 yet because I believe I can perform here. Everything is going well on the field as well.” My job is to perform. It is not to see who is playing in the national team. I’m playing my way. “

Shoaib does not see any relation between age and performance. In this context, he further said, “Recently Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan did a movie called ‘Pathan’. He was 57 years old then. But look at his performance. Novak Djokovic won the Grand Slam at the age of 36. So we should get rid of the age thing. .Performance should be prioritized.”

According to Shoaib, it is important to look at performance rather than age. Because, the field performance is necessary for the team. How a cricketer is doing in batting, bowling or fielding is the real issue. The Pakistani star thinks that there is no work for young or old age here. Shoaib himself is still performing with the youngsters. But whether he will get a call back to the national team is now a question of crores of rupees.
