The court relaxed the ban on rape-accused Gunathilakar

Danushka Gunathilaka broke the discipline during the World Cup.He went to play cricket in Australia, but he was accused of rape. Although Gunathilaka’s punishment was relaxed, the opponent’s lawyer did not take it well. He also opposed the court verdict. According to him, if you have the opportunity to go out at night, the risk of crime increases. To avoid any unpleasant incident, he thinks this movement should be reduced. Earlier, Australian media reported that Gunathilaka was accused of rape while playing the Twenty20 World Cup in 2022. At that time, he dated with a woman through a dating app. It is alleged that the Sri Lankan cricketer has sexually assaulted the woman several times while drinking. Later, the woman filed a complaint in the Sydney court. He was originally arrested for this.
