Islamabad United and Multan Sultans faced off in the 24th match of the Pakistan Super League yesterday (March 7), Tuesday. Batting first in that match, Multan Sultans made a huge target in the scheduled 20 overs.

Later, chasing that target, Islamabad United reached the target before the end of the scheduled 20 overs. As a result, they left the field with a 2-wicket win. Islamabad United won the toss, chose to bowl first, and sent Multan Sultans to bat. In the beginning, Multan Sultans were in a good position to bat. Shan Masood and skipper Rizwan got off to a great start. The two also made a partnership of 57 runs in 6.1 overs. But that pair couldn’t last long. Mohammad Rizwan had to leave the field after being caught out by Shadab Khan. He scored 33 off 18 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes before getting out.

Rilee Rossouw then entered the field. But he could not keep up with Shan Masood for long in the field. With the help of 1 six, he scored 15 runs in 15 balls and returned to the dressing room. Colin Munro scored 40 off 21 balls. He also hit 4 fours and 3 sixes. Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 25 runs from 14 balls with the help of 5 fours.
