Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad set a target of less than 150 in the allotted 20 overs. After that, Chennai Super Kings reached the port of victory before the end of the scheduled 20 overs. After that Devon Conway survived on one side but wickets started to fall on the other side. Ajinkya Rahane left the field after getting caught out after playing 10 balls with 9 runs. Ambati Rayudu was bowled out in the 17th over. Scored 9 runs off 9 balls. In the end, Devon Conway took the victory and left the field with Moeen Ali.
Moeen Ali scored 6 runs off 6 balls with the help of 1 four. Besides, Devon Conway was unbeaten after playing great innings of 77 runs off 57 balls. His innings of 77 runs were studded with 1 dozen fours and 1 six.
