Hurst and Captain Phil Salt forged a strong 89-run partnership from 54 balls, setting the stage for a successful chase of 164. Salt’s aggressive start was overshadowed by Hurst’s dazzling stroke play, which electrified the home crowd.

However, the momentum shifted when Hurst fell to Will Jacks’ smart bowling, and Salt’s departure soon after left the Originals vulnerable.
