This bat-ball battle sometimes turns into a personal battle, which creates exciting conditions at 22 yards. The cricketers got involved in a war of words in the field. And cricket lovers also enjoy their sweet conflict. Recently, a similar incident between Virat Kohli and a Pakistani bowler came to light after many years.
India’s run machine Virat Kohli has always batted aggressively. The cricket world knows him for his aggression at 22 yards. His aggressive temperament is also noticeable while fielding. This star cricketer of India does not give any chance to the opponent on the field. Many years ago, his fight with a Pakistani bowler came to light. It has already gone viral on social media.
Due to political tensions, India cannot face Pakistan except in international matches. India – Pakistan faced each other in the group stage of the 2015 World Cup. Virat Kohli, the owner of 74 centuries in international cricket, also scored a century in that match. Sohail Khan took 5 wickets for Pakistan in that match. But when Pakistan’s batting collapsed, this bowler had to enter the field with the bat. And just then Kohli was fielding against him. And Sohail Khan recently brought forward that incident in an interview.
After Sohail Khan came into the field with the bat in that match, Kohli told him, “Your team is in danger. You are new to the team. But you talk too much. You cannot prevent the team from losing.” And in response to this Sohail Khan said, “You are a child. Your father has been playing Test cricket since you played cricket for the U-19 team. Speak properly. Don’t speak too much without understanding.”
However, later the umpire came and calmed down Kohli and Sohail. And their verbal conflict, however, did not have any effect on the match. Kohli’s team defeated Pakistan by a considerable margin. But Kohli lost to Australia in the semi-final of that World Cup. They did not play in the final after that. However, Kohli did not open up about that incident. Currently, he is preparing himself for the Australia series.
