Corruption in Sri Lankan cricket, Jayawardene is in trouble?

Sri Lanka won the last Asia Cup. But after that, Sri Lanka had to face defeat in Australia’s first match of the T20 World Cup. The reigning champions of the Asia Cup lost to Namibia in the first match. Sri Lanka eventually finished fourth in the group. And that is why their game is being monitored on the instructions of the Sri Lanka board. The independent investigation agency is investigating whether the match was fixed or not.

In the last T-20 World Cup, Sri Lanka had already left. Also, one of their cricketers, Danuska Guntilka, was accused of raping a woman. Then the Australian police arrested him from the team hotel. Gunilla, who is accused of rape, could not come with the team even after the Sri Lankan team returned home. The case has been ongoing for a long time. Since then, Sri Lankan cricket has been a favourite among supporters.

This time there is an allegation against another Lankan cricketer. Allegation of assault. Cricketer Chamika Karunaratne was beaten up in a bar for taking pictures – such allegations have been made in Lankan cricket.
