Shanto can give a lot to the Bangladesh team: Mashrafe

Liton Das is one of the most trusted names of the Bangladesh team. He is impressing the cricket lovers with his consistent performance. But in the beginning he had to face criticism. Although now established in the national team, Lytton has been criticized at times. The same is the case with Nazmul Hossain Shanta. He was subjected to severe criticism in the beginning. However, one of the most successful captains of Bangladesh, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, feels that Shant, like Liton, will go far one day. He is also claiming Shanta as a long race horse.

 

It is not known that Liton Das is Mashrafe’s favorite player. Masrafe had a different opinion of Liton from the beginning of his career. Mashrafe believed that Liton would go far one day, even though he was criticized in the beginning. He said in an interview that he supported Liton from the beginning.

 

Mashrafe said, “Liton is now one of the batting pillars of Bangladesh. Everyone is praising him now. But if you look at the beginning, it was very difficult. There was not much talk about him on social media. Many people used to say bad things, criticize. Many uphill climbs. Today Liton is settled in the Bangladesh team. When I was the captain, I believed that this boy had the basics and he could do it. Liton has shown it. Today everyone says you don’t want to get up in front of the TV when Liton is batting. But it didn’t happen in a day. When I was the captain I believed that he would be a great future for Bangladesh. Liton has shown that even of late.”

 

According to Mashrafe, the same thing happened with Shanto now. There are no less trolls about him on social media. But Shanto is performing against all odds. In this regard, Mashrafe said, “What happened with Liton, the same thing happened with Shanto. There is a lot of criticism about him on social media. If you watch the World Cup, the netizens were against him on the entire social media. But despite the adverse environment, Shantao scored almost 200 runs in the World Cup.  Quiet genius, said it once before. Struggled on the one hand, getting criticized, running again.”

 

According to Mashrafe, Shanto has a lot in common with Liton’s career. Shanto, like Liton, cannot be touched by external things. Mashrafe also said “Shanto is mentally strong. Outside things don’t touch him like Liton. I think this boy is going to be a long race horse in Bangladesh cricket. Give him some time and he will prove himself. Everything requires God’s grace. I believe, This boy can give a lot to Bangladesh. He has that power. Give him some time.”

 

It may be noted that Liton Das has also spoken earlier about criticizing Shanto. Liton also says that Santo is as strong-minded as he is. And Liton, like Mashrafe, believes Shanto will return to his rhythm. Shanto is in great form in BPL. If he can drag this form into the national team, it will benefit Bangladesh as well as himself.
