Dan Mousley’s career took an intriguing turn when he played domestic cricket in Sri Lanka. His last List-A appearance was with Burgher Recreation Club in Sri Lanka’s Major Clubs Limited Overs Tournament, where he delivered a match-winning century against Nugegoda SWC. 

 

His List-A career includes nine matches, where he scored 338 runs at an impressive strike rate of 95.48. This stint highlights his adaptability and capability in various cricketing environments.

 

Mousley’s potential was evident during the U-19 World Cup 2020, where he emerged as England’s top scorer. Accumulating 241 runs in five innings at an average of 80.33, he made significant contributions, including a notable half-century against a formidable Australian U-19 team featuring Tanveer Sangha and Todd Murphy. 

 

Mousley’s career is further enhanced by his participation in multiple international T20 leagues, complementing his domestic success. He was part of the Mumbai Indians’ sister franchise MI Emirates in the UAE’s International League T20, contributing to their trophy win. 

 

Despite just playing in two games, his participation in the ILT20 gave him invaluable experience. Mousley has also represented Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Team Abu Dhabi in the Abu Dhabi T10 League.The range of leagues and environments he has played in is indicative of his flexibility and rising prominence in T20 cricket.
