Cricket Match Prediction | Pakistan vs South Africa | 3rd ODI | Feb 12 – Let’s see who will get into the final.
PAK vs RSA Match Analysis Pakistan vs South Africa will play each other in the 3rd match of the Pakistan ODI Tri-Series, on February
From a cricket perspective, this match is meaningless. The Khulna Tigers and the Sylhet Strikers are no longer in the running for a postseason spot after being eliminated. Other than adding to the overall total, the two points from this match won’t mean much on the table. This conflict is mostly ceremonial.
However, as the Tigers and Strikers prepare for their match in Mirpur, there are still bragging rights up for grabs. And possibly a chance for the Tigers to exact retribution for their early-tournament loss to the Strikers. In any case, both teams would like to end the competition strong and prevent falling to the bottom. The fact that an outstanding individual performance has the potential to derail a team’s entire strategy is just one of the many thrilling aspects of a dead rubber like this one.
This matchup has all the ingredients for an intriguing matchup, as both teams have individuals capable of winning a game on their own. and not just a formality either.
Although it was undoubtedly their greater suit, batting was not without its shortcomings. In an attempt to win games, they substituted and altered their starting lineup twenty-three times, trying out individuals from their roster. However, nothing was successful.
They placed themselves in difficult situations and lost wickets in bunches. Anamul Haque, the captain, was the glue keeping everything together with 286 runs from 11 matches, therefore he was unable to score runs more quickly. In this format, having a couple of batsmen who can quicken the pace of runs scored in the middle overs is definitely advantageous, but unfortunately for the Tigers, nobody else raised their hand and scored runs quickly.
Their bowling unit’s weak performance also didn’t help much. Two of their bowlers are among the top 5 in terms of the most runs given up in a game. Not because the others were airtight and disciplined, and they lacked a killer bowler who could give them the breakthrough when it mattered most. The most scalp a bowler from their ranks has amassed this season is eight, and that is quite a few. For the Tigers, the season has been a rollercoaster with few high points.
Anamul Haque (c), Shai Hope (wk), Parvez Hossain Emon, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Wayne Parnell, Jason Holder, Mukidul Islam, Afif Hossain, Arif Ahmed, Evin Lewis, Nasum Ahmed.
The Sylhet Strikers lost each of their first five games of the season, which was a nightmare start to the season. Then, in their sixth game, they defeated another struggling team, Durdanto Dhaka, by 15 runs, and for the first time, they had something to record in the victories column. Their relief—or rather, their happiness—was short-lived as Rangpur Riders humiliated them in the following game to put them back in their proper place.
They triumphed three times in the next four games, defeating Dhaka (again), Khulna Tigers, and Comilla Victorians, who were in second position. Throughout the entire season, their batting was obviously out of whack, and it all began with the poor performance of national captain Najmul Hossain Shanto. His 136 runs in 11 games did absolutely nothing to aid his team’s cause. Fortunately, they had some in-form foreign newcomers in Benny Howell, Ryan Burl, and Harry Tector, who stepped up to the plate and led their squad to some decent totals.
Only Tanzim Hasan bowled fairly, leaving much to be desired in terms of bowling as well. The remainder of the attack was unable to overcome the defense. Their international signings proved themselves once more, with South Africa’s Benny Howell contributing seven wickets along with his outstanding batting performance, and Zimbabwe’s Richard Ngarava leading the way with ten wickets, followed by England’s Samit Patel with nine.
Despite a rough beginning, the Strikers can be encouraged by their remarkable journey from the bottom to this point; nevertheless, if they hope to compete against more formidable teams in the upcoming seasons, they will have their work cut out for them.
Mohammad Mithun (c & wk), Kennar Lewis, Najmul Hossain Samit Patel, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Benny Howell, Yasir Ali, Shanto, Ariful Haque, Shafiqul Islam, Zakir Hasan, Sunzamul Islam.

The overwhelming preference of teams winning the toss here in Dhaka early in the competition was to pursue a total. However, that trend has waned. Teams have often been able to successfully defend their total by building up to an above-par total in the first inning and bowling to plan in the second. We predict that whoever wins the toss will decide to bat first.
We have positive weather-related news to share. With a clear evening predicted by the forecast, we may hope for a full game of cricket played in ideal conditions without any interruptions from rain. The Mirpur surface has kept the battle between bat and ball in suspense at various points during the game by bringing both batsmen and bowlers into action.
In their last five matches, Khulna Tigers won twice and Sylhet Strikers won three times.
