With his team easily winning the first two games of this series in Barbados and Grenada, Rovman Powell appeared to have the easiest job in the world. It will require a tremendous surge of momentum for the West Indies to win this game and win the series, though, as their recent losses in Grenada and Tarouba have demonstrated that they are far from perfect.

However, the West Indies still have hope since they have Sherfane Rutherford, Nicholas Pooran, and the seasoned Andre Russell who are all capable batsmen. While Jason Holder, an accomplished all-rounder, and Russell have also been reliable with the ball, England has begun to dominate the spinners.

The strength of their batsmen works in their favor, but West Indies needs to get more disciplined with the ball else England would easily win again.

But the winning outcomes have come with a return to the “no fear” batting strategy that has worked so well for the ODI and T20I teams over the past ten years. While captain Buttler is attempting to record his third consecutive T20I half-century, opener Phil Salt is aiming for his third consecutive Player of the Match Award and his third consecutive T20I century.

Suddenly, with the ball, England appeared to be a formidable and well-balanced offensive. Since joining the team again, Reece Topley has shown his international class, and the spinners Rehan Ahmed and Adil Rashid have been unstoppable.

Though perhaps not nearly as nice as Phil Salt made it look on Tuesday, this is still a fine batting wicket! In this final, a par score for the side batting first will be between 210 and 220.
