Mumbai Indians vs Punjab Kings Team Preview
Mumbai Indians
The Mumbai Indians have improved after a slow start and have won three straight games to legitimately challenge for a spot among the top four teams. The five-time Championship-winning team is once more beginning to appear threatening with Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav, both of whom are starting to regain their form. Additionally, Cameron Green appears to be MI’s x-factor this season as well.
Piyush Chawla and Hritik Shokeen should both be in the starting XI because this surface will suit spinners. Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilka Verma, and Cameron Green, on the other hand, will round out Rohit Sharma’s batting order.
Punjab Kings
The Punjab Kings won their first game of the season, but since then, they have lost three of their past four. However, this squad has a chance to win any game with such potent resources at their disposal, with Sam Curran, Arshdeep Singh, Rahul Chahar, and Kagiso Rabada leading the charge in their bowling department.
Sam Curran will once again captain the team since Shikhar Dhawan is probably out for this match. There won’t likely be any changes in the bowling division. The batting order’s weakened state, though, may necessitate a number of foreign trades.
