It was a disappointing performance for Surrey’s top order on Sunday with Will Jacks departing for a 4-ball duck and fellow opener Laurie Evans scoring only 1 run from the same amount of deliveries. Only lower-order runs from Jamie Overton and Tom Curran contributed to the 124 all-out total after Sam Curran, Jamie Smith, and Sean Abbott all produced single-digit scores.

The two points Glamorgan earned after their 32-run victory against Gloucestershire on Sunday put them in fifth place, just two points behind Hampshire Hawks in fourth but with a game left to play. When Glamorgan played Surrey previously in the Vitality T20 Blast 2023, they were defeated by 65 runs.
