But with just 2 runs needed off the last ball, a great delivery from Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled Powell. Which leads Cummins to win by 1 run.
The 50th match of the IPL on Thursday (May 2) was quite dramatic. In which, Rajasthan’s victory was taken away by Hyderabad. Chasing 202 runs, Rajasthan stopped at 200 after losing 7 wickets at the end of the scheduled 20 overs. Now with Hyderabad’s victory, Chennai Super Kings are under pressure on the way to the playoffs.

Earlier, the cricket world witnessed an incredible and dramatic match at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday night. Chasing 202 runs, Rajasthan collected 157 runs after losing 3 wickets after 15 overs. 45 runs were needed from 30 balls to win. Ryan Parag was unbeaten on 76 runs off 46 balls at the crease. His partner Shimron Hetmyer was unbeaten on 5 off 2 balls. Till now the match was completely in the possession of Rajasthan.
But Cummins turned the game around in the 16th over. Cummins, who spent 24 runs without any wickets in the previous two overs, gave only 3 runs in this over and took the wicket of set batter Parag. His innings stopped at 77 runs off 49 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes. Despite losing the wicket of Hetmyer in the next two overs, Rajasthan was on the way to victory. But in the 19th over, Cummins again showed his magic by coming into the attack. The Aussie pacer picked up Dhruv Jurel’s wicket with the first ball. In the next ball, Ravichandran Ashwin took a single, but Cummins beat Powell with yorkers, bounces, and slowers to score three points. However, Powell hit the last ball for a six. It required 13 runs in the last over.
Then, Powell picked up 10 runs with the help of a boundary in the next four balls after Ashwin’s single in the first ball. The last ball required 2 runs. Bowler Bhuvneshwar made a fool of T20 power hitter Powell in this situation. A lower full toss traps Powell. The umpire responded to the request. No work was done on the review. In which, Hyderabad got a dramatic win by 1 run.

After winning the toss and batting after the scheduled 20 overs, Hyderabad collected 201 runs after losing 3 wickets. Travis Head started the match by scoring 58 runs in 44 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. And in the end, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Heinrich Klassen stormed. Nitish hit 76 runs off 42 balls with 8 sixes and 3 fours and Klassen was unbeaten on 42 runs off 19 balls with 3 sixes and 3 fours.
For Rajasthan, Avesh Khan took 2 wickets for 39 runs.
