Sri Lanka vs West Indies (Match 9)

Sri Lanka and West Indies met in the 9th match of the ICC Qualifier, Super Six yesterday. Batting first in that match, West Indies set a moderate target in the fight to reach the final. Chasing that target, the Lankan players reached the target before the end of the scheduled over. On the other hand, West Indies had to leave the field with a big loss of 8 wickets. Also, Maheesh Theekshana won the man of the match title by bowling brilliantly for Sri Lanka. Besides, the Netherlands will face Sri Lanka in the final on July 9.

Sri Lankan Captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and chose to bowl first and invited the West Indies to bat. Batting first, Brandon King and Johnson Charles started well.
