Texas Super Kings and Los Angeles Knight Riders faced each other in the first match of Major League Cricket that started this year. Batting first in that match, Texas Super Kings set a good target in the scheduled 20 overs.

He scored 21 runs off 14 balls with the help of 2 fours. Besides, Bravo was unbeaten on 16 runs from 6 balls and Calvin Savage was unbeaten on 5 runs. In the end, their innings stopped at 181 runs with four extra runs.

Ali Khan and Lockie Ferguson took 2 wickets each for Los Angeles Knight Riders. Besides, Sunil Narine and Adam Zampa took 1 wicket each.

The batsmen of Los Angeles Knight Riders could not stand in front of the bowlers of Texas Super Kings when they came down to bat with the target of 182 runs. They collapsed with 6 overs remaining. For them, none but three batters could reach double figures. Jaskaran Malhotra scored 22 runs off 11 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes. Andre Russell scored the most runs for them.
