After losing the toss and choosing to bat at home, the Lucknow Super Giants were in grave danger. In front of the bowlers of Mumbai Indians, LSG lost 3 wickets for 35 runs. However, Stoinis’ storm was uncontrollable. This Australian batted ferociously and brought to Lucknow a formidable total of 177 runs. A century may have been achieved with a few more balls. Stoinis played a crushing innings of 89 runs off 47 balls while remaining unbeaten. In the innings, this all-around player hit 4 boundaries and 8 sixes. But everything was overturned by Lucknow bowler Mohsin Khan. In his previous two overs, the medium pacer with the left hand gave up 21 runs. Krunal Pandya, the acting captain, gave him the charge of guarding the final 10 runs.

Then the rest is history. During the final over, Mohsin displayed his charisma. He only allowed 5 runs. The first ball dot, second ball, and third ball gave 1 run each. Dot the fourth ball. He gave 1 run in the fifth and 2 runs in the last. He refused to provide Tim David and Cameron Green a chance to play. In the end, Mohsin Khan’s outstanding bowling performance helped Lucknow Super Giants win by 5 runs.
