New Zealand vs South Africa faced each other in the 7th warm-up match of the ICC World Cup. Rassie van der Dussen scored a quick-fire fifty to restart South Africa’s innings after they lost the wicket of Reeza Hendricks for zero during the run chase. Quinton de Kock was leading the run chase with 84 (12 fours and 1 six) not out off 89 balls when the scoreboard read 211/4 in 37 overs, but the constant onslaught of rain prevented him from leading his team to victory.
Besides, Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen made 51 runs off 56 balls with 9 fours. Captain Aiden Markram scored 13 runs off 13 balls. 39 runs were scored by Heinrich Klaasen. He hit 5 fours and 1 six in his 37-ball innings. In the end, David Miller was unbeaten at 18 runs off 26 balls.
For New Zealand, Trent Boult took 2 wickets. Besides, Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi each took one wicket.
