West Indies won the first two matches of the five-match T20I series against England. Then England opener Phil Salt brought the team back to 2-2 by scoring back-to-bat centuries. Due to this, the last match of the series was an undeclared final. In that match, West Indies won the series by defeating England by 4 wickets.

The West Indies bowlers have started the series win at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium on Thursday. They stopped England for 132 runs who were flying in the last two matches. In response, the hosts won with 4 balls and 4 wickets in hand.

In response to the 133 runs given by England in the series-deciding match, opener Brandon King returned to the dressing room with 3 runs from 5 balls. Another opener Johnson Charles scored 27 runs off 22 balls. Sherfane Rutherford scored 30 runs off 24 balls. Shai Hope played the highest individual innings of the entire match. He left the field as a winner after hitting sixes like in the first match. Hope scored 43 runs off 43 balls. 

Earlier, England lost the toss and went to bat. Salt, who scored a century in the previous two matches, started batting brilliantly in this match as well. But this time he was stopped before the fifty by left-arm orthodox spinner Gudakesh Motie. Salt scored 38 runs off 22 balls. This was the biggest individual collection for England in yesterday’s match.

After salt, Liam Livingstone scored 28 runs from 29 balls, and Moeen Ali scored 23 runs. In the end, the English innings ended at 132 runs with 3 balls left in the innings. Gudakesh Motie became the man of the match by taking 3 wickets for West Indies. And England’s batsman Phil Salt was selected as the best of the series.
