Bangladesh vs Ireland (3rd ODI)

In the first two matches, the visiting Ireland was cornered by Bangladesh’s run hill. Batting first in the third game, the situation of the Irish was even worse. The pace attack of Bangladesh led them to get all-out for only 101 runs and the visitors had to lose by a big margin of 10 wickets.

Along with that, Bangladesh made history by picking up a 10-wicket win in the ODI format for the first time. Through this victory, the hosts won the three-match ODI series by 2-0. The second match was abandoned due to rain.

Bangladesh’s previous biggest win by wickets in ODIs was by 9 wickets. The Tigers have defeated the opponent five times by 9 wickets. But there was no 10-wicket win for them.

In the meantime, one catches off Taskin and another off Hasan Mahmud were dropped. But in the 10th over of the innings, Balbirnie got an edge of the bat and gave the ball away at the first slip. There, Najmul Hossain took the catch of Balbirnie.

After losing 4 wickets for 26 runs, Curtis Campher and Lorcan Tucker put up some resistance. They made a pair of 42 runs off 57 balls. After that, the visitors were knocked out of the match due to Ebadot’s double hunt.
