MI New York and Seattle Orcas faced each other in the 15th match of Major League Cricket starting this year. Batting first in that match, MI New York set a good target in the allotted 20 overs. But chasing that target, Seattle Orcas reached the target before the allotted 20 overs. As a result, they left the field with a narrow margin of 2 wickets. On the other hand, Heinrich Klaasen won the man-of-the-match title with great batting for the Seattle Orcas.

The Seattle Orcas captain won the toss, elected to bowl first, and invited MI New York to bat. Batting first, the MI New York openers couldn’t get off to a good start. They lost 2 wickets for the team’s 28 runs. First, the opener Monank Patel returned to the dressing room after losing his wicket. He left the field after being stamped out by Imad Wasim. He scored only 2 runs off 7 balls. After that, Shayan Jahangir could not increase his innings. He scored 19 runs off 14 balls with the help of 3 fours.

Nicholas Pooran was on the field after Shayan Jahangir left. Then, Hammad Azam came to the field to accompany him. But he also left the field at 65 runs for the team. He scored only 2 runs in 5 balls. After that, Captain Kieron Pollard took the field himself and he and Nicholas Pooran took the team’s run to 132 runs. But that’s where the accident happened. Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard both left the field consecutively after the team scored 132 runs. Nicholas Pooran played a brilliant innings of 68 runs off 34 balls with the help of 3 fours and 7 sixes before getting out. On the other hand, Kieron Pollard scored 34 runs off 18 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 1 four.

Then Tim David and David Wiese entered the field. But they could not stay in the field for long. Tim David scored 18 runs from 16 balls with the help of 1 four and 1 six and David Wiese scored 19 runs from 13 balls with the help of 3 fours. Besides, Rashid Khan scored 2 runs off 4 balls. Nosthush Kenjige remained unbeaten for 3 runs from 3 balls and Trent Boult remained unbeaten after playing a stormy innings of 20 runs from 6 balls. He also hit 1 four and 2 sixes. In the end, their innings stopped at 194 runs after losing 8 wickets with 7 extra runs. 

Imad Wasim and Harmeet Singh took 2 wickets each for Seattle Orcas. Besides, Andrew Tye and Cameron Gannon took 1 wicket each.

Set to bat for 195 runs, Seattle Orcas reached the target with 4 balls in hand and the loss of 8 wickets. Except for Heinrich Klaasen and Nauman Anwar, no one could cross the 10-run mark for them. Basically, the Seattle Orcas could reach the goal with the help of their two innings. Heinrich Klaasen played a great innings of 110 runs off 44 balls and was also unbeaten. His innings of 110 runs were studded with 9 fours and 7 sixes. Besides, Nauman Anwar scored 51 runs from 30 balls. He also hit 6 fours and 3 sixes. 

Trent Boult took 4 wickets alone for MI New York. Rashid Khan took 2 wickets. Apart from that, David Wiese and Nostush Kenjige took 1 wicket each.
