As the current champion, the England cricket team is competing one by one. The English lost again, after being defeated against New Zealand, Afghanistan, and South Africa. At the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore today, England faced an extreme batting disaster after winning the toss and choosing to bat against Sri Lanka. They lost by eight wickets and were all out for 156 runs when they batted first. In 25.4 overs, the Lankans prevailed.
