The lower-order surge came from Chamika Karunaratne, who provided a late-innings boost with a quickfire 27 not out off 12 balls, including 2 fours and 2 sixes, striking at 225.00. In terms of bowling,  Mohammad Nabi was the pick of the bowlers, taking 2 wickets for just 20 runs in his 4 overs, maintaining an economy rate of 5.00. He dismissed Sadeera Samarawickrama and Shadab Khan. 

Dushan Hemantha took 1 wicket for 22 runs in his 3 overs, getting the key wicket of Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Key moments of the innings included the fall of Angelo Perera at 73 runs in 8.3 overs after a strong opening stand, followed by quick successive wickets from 87 to 104, which briefly halted the scoring.

Overall, Colombo Strikers set a challenging target of 186, with contributions from both the top and lower-middle order, supported by some inconsistent but wicket-taking bowling from the opposition.

In response to the target of 186, Dambulla Sixers chased it down with ease, scoring 188/2 in 17.5 overs. The innings was anchored by a brilliant performance from Kusal Perera, who smashed 80 runs off 50 balls, including 8 fours and 4 sixes, at a strike rate of 160.00. 

He was well-supported by Reeza Hendricks, who contributed 54 off 39 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes, striking at 138.46. The opening partnership between Hendricks and Perera was pivotal, putting up a solid 154 runs by the 14.4th over.

After the fall of Hendricks, Kusal Perera was dismissed just two balls later, but the momentum was maintained by Mark Chapman, who played a quickfire innings of 23 not out off just 10 balls, including 3 sixes, at an impressive strike rate of 230.00. 

On the bowling front, Taskin Ahmed was the only bowler to make a significant impact, taking 2 wickets for 45 runs in his 4 overs. Binura Fernando was economical, conceding only 25 runs in his 4 overs. However, the rest of the bowlers struggled, with Matheesha Pathirana being the most expensive, giving away 49 runs in 3.5 overs at an economy rate of 12.78.

Overall, Dambulla Sixers showcased a strong batting performance, effectively chasing down the target with 13 balls to spare, thanks to stellar contributions from their top-order batsmen and the support of extras from the bowling side.
