Haider Ali’s scorching 33 off 16 balls provided much-needed momentum. Jason Holder finished the innings spectacularly with a quick, undefeated 32 off 14 deliveries, but captain Shadab Khan contributed 14. Azam Khan and Andries Gous both missed opportunities to score, scoring four and nine points, respectively. United finished at a healthy run rate, and Naseem Shah was still undefeated on 1.

Despite being costly, Chris Jordan was the most successful, taking two wickets for forty-one runs in his four overs.
